Recurring leaks, low water pressure, rust-colored water, or older galvanized pipes are common signs that your plumbing system may need replacement.
Your plumbing pipes naturally wear down due to age and mineral buildup from everyday use. If your home experiences recurring leaks, rust-colored water, inconsistent water pressure, or outdated galvanized piping, it may be time to consider a plumbing repipe rather than continuing to pay for repeated repairs.
Our plumbing repiping services replace deteriorating water supply lines throughout your home with modern piping materials designed for long-term performance. Whether you need a targeted pipe replacement or a complete whole house repiping project, our experienced team carefully evaluates your plumbing system and recommends the most practical solution.
A-General Plumbing & Sewer Service has helped New Jersey homeowners improve their plumbing systems for more than 60 years with honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and reliable service.
Whether you’re updating an older home or replacing damaged plumbing, our repiping service is designed to improve reliability, water quality, and overall plumbing performance.
We replace aging water supply pipes throughout your home, creating a dependable plumbing system that supports your fixtures and appliances for years.
If only certain sections of your plumbing system have deteriorated, we can replace damaged sections while preserving the healthy portions of your existing plumbing.
Old pipes can restrict water flow due to corrosion and mineral buildup. New piping restores consistent water pressure throughout your home.
If you’re remodeling your kitchen, bathroom, or entire home, repiping provides an excellent opportunity to upgrade aging plumbing before the walls are finished.
A complete home pipe replacement is an investment that protects your home while improving everyday comfort and plumbing performance. Rather than dealing with repeated pipe repairs, professional repiping provides a long-term solution and reduces future maintenance.
Our experienced team follows a straightforward process to minimize disruption and deliver lasting results.
We inspect your existing plumbing system to identify problem areas and determine whether partial- or whole-house repiping is the best solution.
Our plumbers explain your options, recommend appropriate piping materials, and provide a clear estimate before work begins.
We carefully replace outdated plumbing, protecting your home during work and completing the project to strict professional standards.
Once installation is complete, we thoroughly test your new plumbing system to verify proper pressure and leak-free operation.

I had a hot water heater emergency and they came when they said, quoted a fair market price, and resolved/replaced the tank in the span of a few hours. The employee was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Would use them again and would highly recommend.Posted on Google Christian MFebruary 25, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a pretty emergent issue at the house I just purchased in Point. I called them during the evening of 2/23 and by 10am on 2/24 they had someone over at my house. By the end of the day on 2/25 my issue was resolved. I had a piece of broken PVC pipe stuck at the end of my service line from a bad job done by the plumbers who altered the plumbing back around the hurricane Sandy renovation project. It was causing a backup into my home. They were able to fix this without us having to dig under the road. This helped avoid getting the township involved. Jeff and the boys were a pleasure to work with. I’d highly recommend their services. Nothing felt pushed on me and I got constant updates during the job. Stay away from larger corporate companies and hire an honest business like this one.

Most whole house repiping projects are completed within several days, depending on the size of the home and the complexity of the plumbing system.
Pricing depends on your home’s size, the number of plumbing fixtures, pipe accessibility, piping material, and the overall scope of the project.
If leaks are isolated, a repair may be enough. However, multiple leaks or aging pipes often make a complete home pipe replacement the more cost-effective long-term solution.
